Amy Bryant is a Senior Policy Adviser for the Equality Challenge Unit. She works on a range of projects connected with promoting equality and diversity in higher education, specialising in disability.
Amy has a background in welfare rights and advocacy. Prior to working at ECU she worked in Citizens' Advice, a Local Authority and a Students’ Union professional advice service. Amy worked at the University of Sussex for eight years as Welfare Rights Adviser, Education Researcher and latterly managing the Representation and Democracy Service for the Students' Union Her final role at Sussex involved supporting elected officers to understand and interpret the equality and diversity framework.
Amy holds a degree in sociology with art history and a postgraduate diploma in advice and paralegal work.
