Chris Hall's profile

Chris Hall is Head of Stakeholder Relations and Communications for Equality Challenge Unit. He is part of the senior management team, and also works on a range of projects, particularly connected to sexual orientation and age equality

Prior to joining ECU, Chris Hall worked at Universities and Colleges Employers Association as a policy and projects officer, running a project to develop better employee relations in the sector and advising on a range of employment and discrimination legislation matters. Chris also supported the national higher education pay negotiations processes including the recently concluded review of HE finance and pay data.

Chris has also worked as a policy adviser for the Higher Education Funding Council for England and has held roles with responsibility for tackling various strands of the equalities agendas at the University of Warwick and the University of the West of England.

Chris has recently completed a graduate diploma in law which included conducting a thesis on the effectiveness that employment legislation has had in addressing gender pay discrimination.
