Equality Challenge Unit has over ten years of experience supporting equality and diversity in the higher education sector.

Alongside our core services, ECU can now offer a range of additional cost-effective bespoke services for HEIs seeking targeted support.

What kind of bespoke support is available?

Designed around your specific needs, our services offer support for your whole institution, including the equality and diversity team, human resources and student services.

All projects are managed by ECU's policy team, providing a mix of equality expertise and practical knowledge and experience of the higher education environment.

Equality and diversity training for staff, senior managers, students' unions etc.
Presentations and workshops on equality issues facing your institution

Auditing equality services
Developing senior management diversity

From auditing disability support services to running a training session for senior academics, we are happy to consider a variety of projects, whatever their size. However, our ability to undertake bespoke support is dependent on the availability of our team.

Who can use the bespoke services?

Our bespoke services are available for individual HEIs and groups of institutions seeking to tackle similar issues.

We have also undertaken bespoke work for HE sector organisations, and would be happy to consider requests from private higher education providers and organisations within the further education sector.

How much do bespoke services cost?

We are very aware that HEI budgets are currently under pressure, and our aim is to provide high quality services that are value for money.

Our cost-effective services are priced on a case-by-case basis, taking into account your specific requirements and scope of the work involved. We are very happy to fully discuss your individual needs and context.
