Religion and belief: our work

In 2010, ECU will deliver a research project to gain an understanding of the experiences of staff and students with a religion or belief in higher education to provide an evidence base for the sector.

From the findings of the research, we will produce briefings and guidance to help institutions explore any issues that are identified.

This advice will build on the series of briefings and case studies that ECU has already produced to help institutions reconcile academic and management requirements with religious observance, Religious observance in higher education: facilities and services and Religious observance in higher education: institutional timetabling and work patterns.
