Trans and gender identity: our work

ECU continues to provide advice and support to the sector on trans issues, and has published guidance for institutions in this area, Trans staff and students in higher education.

We have undertaken extensive in-depth research into the experiences of trans staff and students as part of a wider research project led by Professor Gill Valentine.

Our work on trans and gender identity is informed by the findings of the research report, The experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans staff and students in higher education.
