Athena SWAN Regional Neworks – key contacts and deputies
ECU have recently reviewed and restructured the Athena SWAN regional networks, in the hope of maintaining a consistent and valuable standard across all regional networks. We have created new terms of reference, part of which refer to how ECU will manage communications of network business. In order to improve the quality and consistency of communications, ECU proposes:
- that booking attendance at regional network meetings will be managed online by ECU
- that communications relating to network business (e.g. seeking agenda items, circulating invitations) will be sent by ECU to members
- that ECU will manage these communications via the named institutional Athena SWAN key contact and nominated deputy for each member
Each Athena SWAN key contact should nominate a deputy: jointly the key contact and deputy shall be the point of contact regarding Athena SWAN regional networks, and will be responsible for sharing information and invitations with appropriate colleagues in their institution.
