Considering approaches to managing a workforce without a default retirement age

A seminar for human resources practitioners to consider approaches to managing a workforce without a default retirement age.

Agenda

The workshop will involve a mix of presentation, activities and in-depth discussion led by  Dr Simonetta Manfredi of Oxford Brookes University and members of the ECU team.

The seminar will consider:

  • the benefits of having no fixed retirement age
  • measures to help address the challenges of extended working lives
  • recent relevant case law
  • the different approaches being used by colleges and universities

How to book

Spaces are limited to one person per college or university.

The seminar is free to attend, although registration is necessary. If you register for a place but fail to attend there will be a £50.00 non-attendance fee.

Please note: Depending on demand, we may alter the timings of this session so that it can be repeated in the afternoon. Please indicate your preference for a morning or afternoon session on the booking form
