The Universities UK / Guild HE working group for the promotion of wellbeing in higher education conference

The conference will offer the opportunity to:

Reflect on the impact of the current higher education context on mental well-being
Learn about the nature and extent of difficulties being presented by students
Hear the analysis of the results of our 2008 survey into policy and practice
Consider ways of counteracting alcohol misuse
Attend seminars on two of the following topics: the needs of international students, staff well-being, challenging stigma, the work of Nightline, strategies to help staff support students, institutional responses to alcohol misuse
Contribute to determining the future direction of the working group
