National equality and diversity framework conference

David Ruebain is a keynote speaker at this one-day event in Scotland.

In 2009, after consultation with the college and university sectors, the Scottish Funding Council agreed a new framework for the enhancement of equality and diversity within further and higher education.

In 2011, with implementation well underway, the national equality and diversity conference provides an opportunity for practitioners to come together to discuss the developing framework. This will assist colleges and universities in responding to the challenges of delivering equality outcomes, embedding equality and delivering systemic change for the benefit of the sectors and society as a whole.

This free event is targeted at those within institutions whose role includes equality and diversity, for example: equality and diversity specialists, disability specialists, curriculum development specialists, college and university secretaries and academic quality managers.
