Sharing best practice conference
Come along and learn what other universities are doing
Often, when attending conferences and events, delegates find that the most useful part of the day is speaking to colleagues, sharing best practice and taking back ideas to implement in their own institutions. The 'sharing best practice' conference has been organised as part of the University of Chester diversity festival to enable equality and diversity professionals to discuss what they are doing in their own institutions and allow good practice to be identified, celebrated and shared.
Workshops will cover:
- embedding diversity into the curriculum using equality impact assessments
- diversity in the curriculum - an IT solution
- staff groups - what have yours done?
- building equality - estates and impact assessments
- making teaching more inclusive for disabled students
This event is free to attend, with lunch included.
