Learning from the equality and diversity good practice fund

Showcasing projects funded by the Skills Funding Agency and managed by ECU as part of the Equality and diversity good practice fund 2014/15.

Equality and Diversity good practice fund projects from across the country came together to share the guidance, videos, podcasts and training packs they had developed at the closing events in London and Manchester in summer 2015.

Projects discussed their successes, top tips and the practical knowledge they gained of what works with employers, vice-principals, national equality agencies, sector agencies and other providers.

Equality and diversity knowledge exchange webinars

Over the past four weeks, we ran free lunchtime webinars which were designed to provide colleges, other training organisations and stakeholders in the FE sector in England with ideas and resources to help all learners participate and achieve in FE, develop skills and benefit the economy and society.

The sessions focussed on learning from the projects funded by the Skills Funding Agency and managed by ECU.

Each webinar provided:

  • An overview of all the funded projects, providing you with ideas on what you can do to support learners
  • A focus on a key equality challenge within the FE sector, looking in more detail at the learning and resources developed by relevant projects
  • Some top tips to implementing a successful initiative within your organisation.
