Examples of codes of practice, training materials and other documents submitted to the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) 2008
In 2009, the Higher Education Funding Council for England commissioned research into The impact of the process to promote equality and diversity in RAE2008.
The research reviewed the codes of practice and other supporting documentation submitted to the RAE by 32 selected higher education institutions (HEIs).
The research identified a number of noteworthy examples of codes of practice, training materials and other documents that will be of use to HEIs when submitting staff for future research assessment exercises.
