Consultation on student fitness to practice

ECU welcomes the opportunity to respond to the GMC and MSC draft fitness to practice guidance. Our comments in this response are limited to questions where there are particular implications for the higher education sector, or where we consider that we have particular relevant experience. We have not addressed questions that fall outside the scope of our work. 

ECU has some general recommendations, followed by more specific recommendations related to individual subsections of the guidance. The views expressed in this response are those of ECU and do not necessarily represent the views of the sector.
