ECU responses to specific duties consultations
Final submissions to Scottish and Welsh consultations published
ECU today published online the final response to the Welsh Assembly government's Consultation on the draft Equality Act 2010 (Statutory Duties) (Wales) Regulations 2011, which sets out proposals for the specific duties which will underpin the new public sector Equality Duty of the Equality Act 2010 in Wales.
We have also published ECU's response to the Scottish government Consultation on public sector equality duty draft regulations and order.
ECU would like to take this opportunity to thank institutions and individuals for sharing their views and comments on our draft submissions, which have strengthened our final responses.
