Groundbreaking survey into religion and belief is launched

Staff and students in higher education with a religion or belief invited to take part

Equality Challenge Unit is investigating the experiences of staff and students in higher education who have a religion or belief. There is currently no comprehensive national evidence about the broader experience of staff or students from a diverse range of religions and beliefs in HE.

This week ECU launched a nationwide online survey with the aim of developing an evidence base for understanding the experience of staff and students in HE. The findings will then support the further development of more inclusive policy and practice within the higher education sector that meets legal requirements and also extends good practice.

We would like to get views and experiences from as many people as possible working and studying in HE in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Please forward details to staff and student networks within your university.
