ECU announces new board members
Professor Colin Riordan and Christina McAnea
Equality Challenge Unit is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its board.
Professor Colin Riordan, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Essex, joins ECU's board as a Universities UK nominee. Colin took his position at Essex in 2007, prior to which he was Pro Vice-Chancellor and Provost at Newcastle University.
Christina McAnea is National Secretary for Education and Children's Services at the public service trade union UNISON. Christina brings with her experience of furthering equality in education, and specifically knowledge of the needs of support staff in the higher education sector.
