Good practice examples wanted for new guidance

Lifelong Learning UK's Disability Equality Implementation Group (DEIG), of which ECU is a member, has commissioned good practice guides in the two areas of recruitment of disabled employees and disability disclosure.

Sharing your work

In developing these guides DEIG would be interested to hear from organisations that:

  • offer good examples of how they reach out to disabled people, attract job applications from them and ensure that they are successfully integrated into the workplace,

or

  • have effective processes to manage disclosure of impairment (disability disclosure), including how people are asked, the different opportunities to disclose and how disclosure leads to adjustments.
