This project will analyse admissions data for different student groups and gather evidence on higher education institutions' admissions policy and practice, with the aim of developing an effective model of practice in line with the legal requirements of the Equality Act 2010.
Taking an evidence-based approach, the project will culminate in an admissions toolkit, including case studies drawn from participating institutions.
This project has been initiated after discussion with SPA (Supporting Professionalism in Admissions) and support from the Chair of the Academic Registrar's Council Admissions Practitioner Network, for which we are grateful.
