Supporting good relations in higher and further education

Supporting higher education institutions and colleges in the effective management of good relations and the development of a positive culture that fosters good relations between individuals and groups.

For: Human resources; equality and diversity practitioners; student services; estates departments; academic leads

When: April 2013 – March 2014

This project will look to support institutions to:

  • understand good relations work
  • understand legislation and good relations work
  • develop opportunities to challenge assumptions and perceptions
  • understand harassment, bullying and discrimination
  • develop opportunities for good relations work

The second stage of the project will develop resources for use by institutions to raise awareness of good relations issues and develop the skills for effective management.
