The recommendations in this guidance will help higher education institutions to demonstrate their commitment to lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) equality, become more confident in their interventions, and break down the perception revealed by ECU research that sexual orientation equality isn't an issue for the higher education sector.
The guidance will help institutions to meet existing and future legislation protecting staff and students from discrimination, and proactively advance LGB equality.
