Engaging with post-May 2015 Athena SWAN
Following the session, attendees will understand the new requirements of the expanded Charter, and how to smoothly transition from their current awards to Post-May 2015 awards.
This session is for any university already engaging with ECU’s Athena SWAN Charter. Staff attending the session will benefit from having previously been involved with Athena SWAN.
On the day
The session will include:
- an overview of the changes to the Athena SWAN Charter
- explanation of levels and new criteria including intersectionality and support for trans people and professional and support staff
- SMART action planning around new principles
ECU recommends that the workshop is delivered as a half-day session, but it can be adapted to suit your timings.
