Does UK law cover disabled people from overseas?

Related subject: |

Does our institiution need to consider the requirements of disabled people working, studying and using the services of our HEI, even when they are non-UK nationals?

There is no distinction between UK and non-UK nationals in the protection afforded to disabled people by the Equality Act 2010.  As long as a member or staff, student or service user meets the definition of a disabled person under section 6 of the Act, s/he he will be entitled to the protection given to disabled people under the Act.
