TEF panel members and assessors vacancies
The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) is seeking approximately 100 academics, students and experts to form the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) subject pilot panels and to supplement the TEF Year Three panel.
HEFCE welcomes applications from all sections of the community, particularly from underrepresented groups including disabled people and people from a black or minority ethnic background.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Friday 6 October.
Sub-panel chairs sought for the 2021 Research Excellence Framework
The four UK higher education funding bodies are now seeking applications for the role of sub-panel chair for the 2021 Research Excellence Framework exercise.
The sub-panel chairs will play a key role in the exercise by leading their sub-panel’s assessment of submissions.
The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Wednesday 11 October 2017.

Our call for examples from the higher education sector across the UK and colleges in Scotland on equality and diversity work around the protected characteristic of disability is still open.

ECU annual conference 2017
ECU’s conference theme for 2017 is inclusivity, intersectionality, action: moving forward the equality agenda in higher education.
It will be held on Tuesday 7 November and Wednesday 8 November 2017 in Birmingham.
