Register your interest in observing an Athena SWAN panel
Observing an Athena SWAN panel can help provide a good insight into the process, as well as pick up good practice and hints and tips from the discussion of applications by experienced reviewers. Athena SWAN observers are provided with the same documentation as panellists but do not take part in the discussions or decision making. They can be invited to give their views and opinions on the applications once the final decision has been made.
Panels take place at the ECU offices or the MRC conference centre, both of which are in Central London. ECU will contribute up to £50 towards observers’ travel expenses.
Unfortunately, each awards round the Charters team have more requests to observe panels than there are spaces available and are therefore unable to fulfill all requests.
If you are interested in observing an Athena SWAN panel please complete the form below and our declaration of interest form. Once you have observed a panel your name will be removed.
