Attracting Diversity Workshop- Designing a Positive Action Initiative
Tuesday 14th November 10.00 am- 2.00 pm- Stirling
This is the third in a series of workshops for Attracting Diversity project teams focusing on particular steps of the revised project methodology.
This workshop will focus on developing a positive action initiative and ensuring such initiatives are proportionate.
Participants will have an opportunity to explore themes including:
- Overview of positive action
- Evidencing and understanding disadvantage or underrepresentation
- Designing an initiative proportionate to need and evidence
- Evaluating ongoing proportionality of positive action initiatives
There will also be an opportunity to discuss challenges and overcoming obstacles, as well as share practice between represented institutions and project teams.
The workshop will be facilitated by Stephanie Millar, Senior Policy Advisor ECU and David Bass, Scotland Programme Manager ECU.
The event is being held at College Development Network, Argyll Court, Castle Business Park, Stirling FK9 4TY.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday 14th November.
Registration will open at 10.00 am. The event will start at 10.30 am and close at 2.00 pm. Lunch will be provided.
