WUMS mentoring scheme: share your experience

If you have participated in the Women in Universities Mentoring Scheme (WUMS) then ECU would like to hear from you.

The Women in Universities Mentoring Scheme (WUMS) is a scheme run in Wales that aims to promote and facilitate professional development for women working in Welsh universities by setting up inter-university mentoring partnerships. Funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW) in partnership with Welsh higher education institutions, WUMS is open to women working in academic and support departments of HEIs in Wales at all levels.

WUMS has now been running for several years. ECU is keen to collate and share case case studies and examples of inclusive practice from mentors and mentees who have participated in the scheme. ECU will be using the information gathered to update its mentoring guidance.

We need your input

If you have participated in WUMS, either as a mentor and mentee, and would be willing to share your experience, please use the form below to share information with us.

Once we have received all the submissions we will identify a number of case studies that we want to develop further. This means we may wish to interview you by phone to get more detail – please be sure to include your contact details. You can also indicate in the text box below if you do not wish to be interviewed.
