Three commissioner vacancies at EHRC

Deadline for applications to join the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is Tuesday 12 September at 5pm. More information is available online.

Leadership Foundation for Higher Education governance survey

The Leadership Foundation for Higher Education would like to hear from universities’ governing bodies via a new survey.

The results of the survey will inform the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education’s governance development strategy from now until 2020.

The deadline to complete the survey is Monday 25 September at 9am.

Would you like to be on an Athena SWAN Charter panel?

Our next call for panellists, for the November 2017 round, will go out to all registered panellists early in September.

If you would like to register your interest please do so as soon as possible by completing this short form and the Athena SWAN Charter team will be in contact in due course.

We encourage all those interested to sign up but we are particularly looking for:

  • academics from arts, humanities, social sciences, business and law subjects
  • professional and support staff
  • male panellists

Call for evidence: reasonable adjustments and inclusive educational environments

ECU is calling for examples from the higher education sector across the UK and colleges in Scotland on equality and diversity work around the protected characteristic of disability.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 1 November at 5pm. More information is available on the ECU website.

By submitting your case studies and examples you will be contributing to new ECU guidance in this area.

Diversity in governance launch event
