Sarah joined ECU in August 2015, providing strategic and operational support to the development of the Athena SWAN Charter, with particular focus on its expansion to the Republic of Ireland. Sarah’s role includes delivering training and workshops, moderating Athena SWAN panels, and supporting higher education institutions and departments throughout the UK and Ireland.
Prior to joining ECU, Sarah worked for think tanks authoring reports on entrepreneurship, technology policy and digital government. Before moving to London, she worked in Washington DC as a fellow for Running Start, an organisation that trains women for political leadership.
Sarah has an MA in Gender, Society and Representation from University College London and a BA in Political Science from Saint Mary’s College.
