Gender diversity in recruitment: attracting the best talent
This session will be suitable for institutions that have made a commitment to improving gender diversity in particular areas, but that are struggling to recruit a diverse workforce.
On the day
This workshop will explore the methods that institutions are using to improve gender diversity in applications, with a focus on women, how they are encouraged and supported during the recruitment process and on commencement of post.
The workshop draws upon successful Athena SWAN applications. Institutions are encouraged to provide their own recruitment materials to enable staff to reflect on them in light of information and discussion during the workshop.
We would recommend a half day for the session.
